2D Visual Art 11/12 is a course designed for students of all levels in Visual Art. Even those that have never taken an art class! Learn to draw, paint and express your ideas like a pro! Students will experiment with a variety of techniques & materials using both abstraction and realism. We will gain skills and confidence using design strategies and learn how to paint/ draw/ and combine materials in creative ways. We will explore aboriginal art, anime/manga, street art, contemporary art & historical artwork for inspiration.

 

Students in these grades are given more independence in choosing themes and imagery for projects. Evaluation is based on personal growth, from start to end of term. Check out what Ms. Mears is doing with her classes @grandview_art
